As the CEO of Stratellix, Heather Carlock founded the firm to serve small business customers across diverse industries, providing them with in-depth analysis, actionable insights, and valuable intelligence. Heather also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from The University of Oklahoma.

Before launching Stratellix, Heather made significant contributions during her tenure at NRG Energy in Houston, Texas. As the Senior Manager of Market Intelligence & Segment Strategy, she played a pivotal role in establishing, building, and advancing the market intelligence and analytics practice, which was recognized as a driving force behind business performance. Heather's exceptional leadership and expertise led to her receiving the NRG Retail President's Award for her contributions to the organization.
During her time at NRG, Heather Carlock served as an advisor to the President of NRG Retail and the Executive Team, lending her market intelligence, consumer insights, and analytics expertise. She also led a cross-functional team of 50+ analysts in developing the 5-year strategic plan for the Reliant Energy brand.
Before joining NRG, Heather's career included diverse roles such as Brand Development Manager at FKM Agency, Marketing Associate & Digital Analyst at Regent University, and Account Associate (Trade) at News America Marketing. In these positions, she consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of consumer insights, marketing analytics, and business strategy, contributing to the success of various well-known national and international CPG brands and retailers.
